Canon MT-24EX

The Macro Twin Lite MT-24EX will give your macro images an extra dimension. Specifically aimed at photographers shooting macro subjects from insects and flowers to still life and abstracts, it gives more control and more options when lighting your subjects.

With two independently controllable flash tubes (with a six-stop range on each) you have complete control of the power output and lighting ratios. Add to this, the individually moveable flash heads that can be mounted on the front of a lens or removed and placed onto a flash bracket, and you have a very versatile lighting solution.

If the twin flash heads are not enough, the MT-24EX can also be used to control a remotely positioned EX-series Speedlite such as the 580EX II or 430EX to provide even more complex lighting set-ups.

A guide number of 12 (metres at ISO 100) for each flash head giving a combined total guide number of 24 (metres at ISO 100) gives the MT-24EX enough power to light most macro subjects comfortably. An illuminated LCD control panel and modelling lights on the flash heads complete the unit and allow you to work comfortably and effectively in dark conditions.
